A successful Teachers’ Training Session on Phonics was held on 15th October 2025 at People’s School, Tando Allah Yar, conducted by Ma’am Nadia Muraad.
The session focused on improving reading skills, comprehension, and phonetic awareness through practical and interactive teaching strategies.
Teachers learned to:
Decode words and blend sounds effectively
Differentiate letter sounds like W, V, and F
Use spelling competitions and vocabulary banks
Integrate digital tools and fun games to make phonics engaging

The training highlighted that phonics is more than letter recognition — it connects sounds and symbols, helping students read confidently and understand better. Teachers are left equipped with creative strategies to make classroom learning interactive, fun, and effective!
