The IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025, held from 9–15 October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), UAE, brought together governments, NGOs, scientists, Indigenous Peoples, and businesses to shape the future of global conservation.
Under the theme “Powering Transformative Conservation,” the Congress focused on advancing resilient conservation efforts, fostering nature-positive economies, ensuring equity and inclusion, and promoting innovation for sustainability — all in alignment with the 2030 goals of the Paris Agreement and the Global Biodiversity Framework.
Mr. Asim Mushtaq, CEO of Taaleem Foundation, represented the organization at the Congress, exploring avenues for collaboration and partnerships with international institutions, innovators, and IUCN member organizations.
Taaleem Foundation continues to uphold its vision of linking education, environment, and sustainability, transforming global dialogue into local action and measurable impact.
